LLC urged a Maryland federal judge to not remand a proposed class action alleging the company improperly sells vehicles repossessed over defaulted payments, saying Friday that the plaintiff incorrectly argued that some claims in the $8.2 million damages calculation were time-barred.

Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC on Monday urged a Maryland federal judge to compel arbitration in a proposed class action filed by a consumer who alleges the company improperly sold her vehicle after repossessing it over defaulted payments, saying her contract included an arbitration provision.
