Two employee benefit administrators on Thursday asked a Virginia federal court to transfer to a different division their putative class actions against Pfizer over an alleged generic delay agreement involving Celebrex in order to coordinate similar claims filed by the American Sales Company Inc.

Pfizer Inc. has been hit with three class actions alleging it improperly obtained a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its arthritis drug Celebrex and used it to induce generic manufacturers into settlements to delay their versions of the drug from entering the market.
