    Kia Hit With Class Action Over Brake Switch Defect

    Kia Motors America Inc. was hit Monday with a putative class action in California federal court accusing it of failing to disclose that certain models contain a defective brake switch that can lead to the brake light failing to illuminate and cruise control not turning off, increasing the risk of accidents.
