    Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Inc. were slapped Tuesday with a pair of suits in Texas federal court for allegedly ripping off a patent for multiplayer video gaming through the Amazon Fire Phone and Amazon Kindle Fire products, as well as the popular Apple iPhone and Apple TV Media player.
