    Qualcomm Awarded Attys' Fees In 'Exceptional' IP Win

    An Ohio federal judge said Wednesday that Qualcomm Inc. is entitled to attorneys' fees estimated at approximately $2 million after the tech company successfully defended against a patent infringement suit brought by R&L Carriers Inc. in multidistrict litigation, saying the case was "exceptional" under the high court's Octane Fitness ruling.
