    Costco Will Pay Fine For GHG Emissions, Alter Practices

    Costco Wholesale Corp. has agreed to pay $335,000 and spend about $2 million to cut its emissions of greenhouse gas chemicals from refrigeration equipment at more than half of its stores nationwide, according to documents filed in California federal court by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
