    Trans Energy Pays $3M To End EPA, W.Va. Fracking Suit

    Trans Energy Inc. agreed on Tuesday to pay $3 million and restore streams and wetlands at 15 polluted West Virginia sites in order to settle a suit filed by the state, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Justice over its unauthorized hydraulic fracturing.
