Bitcoin Mining Hardware Co. Settles FTC Deception Charges
A company that makes computers for mining bitcoin virtual currency has agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that it lied about the availability, profitability and newness of its machines, a deal that includes $38.7 million in partially suspended payments, the FTC said Thursday.
