A North Carolina-based beer distributor on Tuesday agreed to settle a suit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in which the agency accused it of discriminating against a Rastafarian delivery driver candidate who wouldn't cut his hair.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued North Carolina beer distributor Mims Distributing Company Inc. Thursday for allegedly refusing to hire a man who refused to cut his hair due to his Rastafarian religious beliefs.
