    Tribal Cig Co. Seeks To Pause Judgment Pending Appeal

    Native American-owned tobacco manufacturer King Mountain Tobacco Co. Inc. asked a Washington state federal court on Thursday to stay executing a judgment made earlier this month requiring it to fork over more than $6.4 million in payments to the federal government under the Fair and Equitable Tobacco Reform Act pending an appeal of the ruling to the Ninth Circuit.
