    Tire giant Michelin North America Inc. on Tuesday slapped one of its California retail franchisees with a contract suit in South Carolina federal court, accusing the retailer of defrauding the company by submitting false claims for truck tires allegedly sold to government entities in an attempt to improperly recoup financial rewards from Michelin.
