    Duty-Free Biz Sues TTB For Axing Permit Over Stock Transfers

    Duty-free wholesaler and retailer Fairn & Swanson Inc. has sued the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, alleging the federal agency unlawfully terminated F&S' permit for a TTB export warehouse over unreported changes to the company's controlling stockholders — including a stock transfer that took place 16 years ago.
