    Boston Dodges Taxi Drivers' Unfair Uber, Lyft Regs Suit

    A Massachusetts federal judge on Wednesday tossed a suit from Boston taxicab drivers alleging city officials violated the equal protection clause by applying stringent regulations to traditional taxicabs but not to so-called transportation network companies such as Uber and Lyft, saying a newly enacted state law moots their claims.
