Dominion Wins Double Damages In Alstom Patent Trial
A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday awarded Dominion Resources Inc. double damages of $972,000 after a jury in July found that Alstom Grid Inc. infringed Dominion's patent covering energy-conservation software, saying enhanced damages were warranted given Alstom's willful and egregious conduct.
