Insurer Wants Out Of DR Horton Wrongful Death Coverage Row
Southern Owners Insurance Co. urged an Alabama federal court Tuesday to dismiss it from another insurer's lawsuit seeking coverage for a wrongful death suit filed against a D.R. Horton unit and several subcontractors by a construction worker's family, asserting that the coverage action is premature.

Insurer Says No Coverage For D.R. Horton Wrongful Death Suit
Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Co. sued D.R. Horton Inc.-Birmingham in Alabama federal court Tuesday, saying it has no duty to defend the homebuilder from a wrongful death suit filed by a construction worker's family because it is only an additional insured on its policy.
