Oil, Trucking Groups Lose Challenge To Oregon Fuel Standard
An Oregon federal court has tossed a suit from energy and transportation industry groups seeking to overturn Oregon’s recently enacted low-carbon fuel standard on constitutional and preemption grounds, ruling the program passes constitutional muster and does not violate federal law.

A trio of energy and transportation industry groups challenged the constitutionality of Oregon's recently enacted low-carbon fuel standard in federal court on Monday, but they face an uphill battle given that the Ninth Circuit has already upheld a similar program in California, experts say.
