    GM, Engine Maker Say Fuel-Efficiency Suit Has No Teeth

    GM and engine maker DMAX Ltd. urged a California federal judge Tuesday to toss litigation alleging that a design defect in diesel engines hindered advertised fuel efficiency, claiming the allegations fail for a number of reasons, including the fact that the proposed class doesn't show any defects.
