    Amazon, Staffing Co. Sued For Background Check Practices

    Amazon.com Inc. and a staffing company the e-retailer uses were hit with a proposed class action Tuesday in Washington federal court, accusing the companies of violating federal law by allegedly failing to provide prospective employees with the results of background checks before making hiring decisions.
