The alleged inventor of a throwing apparatus for a game played on golf courses by throwing a ball with a lacrosse-style stick known as "Throw Golf" or "FlingGolf" told the Fourth Circuit Monday that a Virginia federal judge wrongly dismissed counterclaims against a rival inventor alleging he made false statements to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in an attempt to register trademarks for the game and stick.
