Paramount Scores Win Over Musicians' Film Contract Claims
A California federal judge tossed a breach of contract case from the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada against Paramount Pictures Corp. on Thursday, saying while the studio put up 40 percent of the financing for a film, AFM couldn't prove the studio was in charge of who did the film's score.
