A Chinese tire company's $10 million contract suit should be thrown out because it was improperly filed in Ohio instead of California, Golden State-based Horizon Tire Inc. said Wednesday, arguing that it doesn't do business in Ohio and the federal courts there lack personal jurisdiction over it.

Horizon Tire Faces $10M Contract Suit By Chinese Supplier
California-based tire distributor Horizon Tire Inc. was hit with a $10 million lawsuit Friday in Ohio federal court by a Chinese tire manufacturer accusing it of breaching a contract by failing to pay for tires and then trying to hold the manufacturer to a nonexistent exclusive distribution agreement.
