A Manhattan panel handling venue requests fielded a battle royale Thursday among plaintiffs lawyers seeking to get ticket price-fixing actions against four major airlines centralized in locales ranging from Louisiana to San Francisco, but those pushing for Washington, D.C., and Dallas benefited from support from the defendants.

American Airlines Inc., Delta Air Lines Inc., Southwest Airlines Co. and United Airlines Inc. were hit Wednesday in Texas federal court with another putative class action accusing them of conspiring to fix airline ticket prices, furthering a jurisdictional fight over which court will end up overseeing the litigation.
