A California federal judge on Monday tossed a trademark infringement suit brought by a soccer event organizer who claimed Google, Amazon and Samsung offered a third party's Free Kick Master apps that infringed its marks, saying the organizer didn't prove the companies intentionally caused any third-party infringement.

Google Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. and Amazon.com Inc. urged a California federal judge Wednesday to toss soccer event organizer Free Kick Master's suit claiming they infringed a trademark on its name, arguing they can't be held liable for hosting app downloads that may have infringed.
