A California federal judge on Monday again dismissed a trademark infringement suit brought by a soccer event organizer claiming Amazon, Apple, Google and Samsung offered third-party apps that infringed its marks, this time finding that the companies didn't have notice of the alleged infringement.

Google Inc., Samsung Electronics Co. and Amazon.com Inc. urged a California federal judge Wednesday to toss soccer event organizer Free Kick Master's suit claiming they infringed a trademark on its name, arguing they can't be held liable for hosting app downloads that may have infringed.
