Robocalls Cause Concrete Harm Under Spokeo, Judge Rules
The consumer accusing Got Warranty Inc. and others of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by making computer-dialed telemarketing calls to her cellphone suffered concrete, particularized privacy invasion injuries under the U.S. Supreme Court's Spokeo decision and can proceed with her suit, a West Virginia federal judge ruled Thursday.
