Gov't Hit With $750M Suit Over Md. Army Base Pollution
Residents living near Fort Detrick in Maryland filed a $750 million putative class action against the U.S. government on Wednesday, saying they were exposed to contaminated groundwater and toxic chemicals emanating from the base that caused cancer and other diseases and the death of at least one person.
