Apple Inc. has fired back against the University of Wisconsin-Madison's licensing unit's request for a status conference and new trial in its yearslong $506 million fight against Apple over a microprocessor patent, arguing that the unit made "several mischaracterizations" about the litigation's history and the case doesn't warrant a new trial.
