Sprint To Pay $3M For Charging Fees Based On Credit
Sprint has agreed to pay $2.95 million in civil penalties to settle allegations it didn't properly tell customers they'd been placed into a special program with a $7.99 monthly fee for those with lower credit scores, according to an announcement Wednesday from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
