    CORRECTED: VW Hit With Suits Over New EPA Emissions Claims

    Volkswagen was hit in New York federal court on Tuesday with a putative class action by customers who purchased certain light duty vehicles with 3.0-liter diesel engines that feature software to evade federal nitrogen oxide pollution testing. Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that plaintiff Matthew Gee's suit was the first suit filed since the EPA's Nov. 2 violations notice. The error has been corrected.
