A Georgia federal judge has ruled that Ironshore Indemnity Co. must cover an information technology company's $1.7 million loss from a transfer induced by a fraudulent scheme, rejecting the insurer's argument that the fraud had to result directly from an initial email sent by a crook posing as an employee of the policyholder.
