Airbnb Strikes Deal To Ax Claim It Infringed Menu Bar Patents
A federal magistrate judge in Texas on Monday approved the dismissal of a patent holder's claim that Airbnb's website menu bars infringe two of its patents, and Airbnb agreed not to challenge the validity of the patents.

Expedia Inc. is leading a group of travel websites that asked a federal judge on Tuesday to temporarily halt all proceedings against them in a patent suit alleging that their websites' side menu bars infringe patented technology, telling the court that the supplier of the technology at issue, Amazon, has filed related claims.
