Pure Storage will pay $30 million to Dell as part of a settlement of all litigation between the data storage companies involving allegations of violated contracts, infringement of an EMC patent and pilfered trade secrets, according to a publicly filed report.

Electronic data storage company EMC Corp., which won $14 million in a patent infringement trial against rival Pure Storage Inc. last month, has urged a Delaware federal court to forbid Pure Storage from selling its new line of storage products, saying it isn't substantially different from the discontinued infringing products.
