A New Jersey federal judge on Friday ruled that timeshare companies could not recover nearly $600,000 in attorneys' fees and costs after knocking out a putative class action over alleged violations of the state's Consumer Fraud Act because the businesses did not pursue and succeed on a CFA counterclaim.
