An attorney for consumers alleging Pfizer Inc.'s antidepressant Zoloft caused congenital birth defects told the Third Circuit on Wednesday that the Pennsylvania federal judge who tossed the case excluded an expert witness before determining if the testimony showed the drug caused the adverse effect.
