    Egg Farm Says Nonprofit Can't Duck 'Organic' Label Case

    An animal welfare organization that sent an email to grocery chains accusing Handsome Brook Farm LLC of falsely labeling eggs as "organic" can't escape a libel suit because the message constituted a commercial advertisement and contained misleading statements that aren't protected by free speech laws, the egg farm told a Virginia federal judge Monday.
