Logger's RICO Suit Against Greenpeace Is Headed To Calif.
A Georgia federal judge on Tuesday granted Greenpeace International's request to transfer to California a logging company's suit alleging the environmental organization engaged in racketeering, saying not enough of the alleged wrongdoing took place in the district where the case was filed.

Greenpeace International urged a Georgia federal court Monday to dismiss racketeering claims made by a logging company that alleges the environmental group and others carried out a knowingly false and damaging marketing campaign, saying its statements were not false and were covered by the First Amendment.
