Wal-Mart Stores Inc. asked an Arkansas federal judge on Wednesday to decide that its Casemate office products brand cannot be confused with Case-Mate Inc.’s line of phone accessories, saying it wants to prevent future actions against its trademark from Case-Mate, whose motives are suspicious.
