Defense attorneys for L'Oreal on Tuesday told U.S. District Judge Jed S. Rakoff that a proposed class of women who allege the beauty products maker lied about the safety of its hair relaxer includes too many individual issues to warrant certification, and that class claims should instead be dismissed.
