The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday filed a lawsuit in Texas federal court against oil company Tycoon Energy Inc. and its owner Matthew Dee Nerbonne, alleging they raised $5.6 million from more than 200 investors by falsely claiming Tycoon's wells were commercially viable.
