    A New Jersey federal judge refused Friday to toss a putative class action alleging the distribution division of Snyder's-Lance Inc. unlawfully terminated franchisees shortly after the two snack-food companies merged, ruling that the suing wholesaler operated in accord with the state's franchise protection law.
