NASCAR Looks To Shake Off Discrimination Suit
NASCAR asked a North Carolina federal judge Thursday to toss a suit alleging it discriminates against African-American drivers and team owners, arguing that the suit doesn't make any valid employment discrimination claims under the Civil Rights Act of 1865.
