Convicted Auto Racer's Brother Fined In Payday Loan Scheme
A Kansas federal judge ordered the brother of a man convicted of running a $2 billion payday loan empire to pay the Federal Trade Commission $4.1 million to satisfy civil claims accusing him of selling debt collectors lists of fake payday loan debts containing personal information of millions of consumers, the agency said Tuesday.
