USPTO Defends Fed. Circ. Patent Test At High Court
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Monday defended a Federal Circuit ruling that found claims in a Nidec Motor Corp. air conditioning patent were obvious, telling the U.S. Supreme Court that complaints the appeals court imposed a rigid test were "unfounded."
