    A California federal judge Tuesday permanently tossed a thrice-amended putative class action filed by a Jeep Compass driver who alleged Fiat Chrysler concealed defects in the automatic transmission system in some vehicles, finding the driver failed to bring evidence the purported defects caused the transmission to overheat or experience lags.
