Nike Asks High Court To Ignore Photog's 'Jumpman' Suit
Nike told the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday to deny a photographer's petition to revive a suit claiming Nike copied his Michael Jordan photo in its own promotional image, saying court precedent is clear the photos are not substantially similar except in their ideas, which are not protected by copyright.
