Heinz Beats Sauce Maker's TM Suit Over 'Mayochup'
A New Orleans federal judge tossed a trademark lawsuit Monday against The Kraft Heinz Co. over its mayonnaise-ketchup spread called "Mayochup," finding a Louisiana sauce maker abandoned his "Metchup" trademark after selling just 34 bottles of his earlier version of the condiment.

The Kraft Heinz Co. was hit with a trademark lawsuit Monday over its recent launch of a mayonnaise-ketchup spread called "Mayochup," a name that a Louisiana sauce maker says is too much like the "Metchup" he has used for a decade on his similar product.
