Varsity Brands and the cheerleading gym accusing it of trying to monopolize the cheer competition and apparel market have convinced a Tennessee federal judge to give their $43.5 million settlement her final blessing.

Varsity Brands, a private equity-backed cheerleading equipment and apparel company, will pay $43.5 million as part of a settlement in a proposed antitrust class action lodged by California cheerleading gym Fusion Elite All Stars.
