Judge Gives First OK To $6.6M Scotiabank 'Spoofing' Deal
A New Jersey federal judge gave the first green light to a $6.6 million settlement between a class of commodities traders and The Bank of Nova Scotia, also called Scotiabank, to resolve claims that the bank's traders manipulated the precious metals futures market through a spoofing scheme over an eight-year period ending in 2016.
