Walmart Settles IP Suits Over Ugg, Hoka, Teva Footwear
Walmart Inc. is settling a couple of trade dress and patent infringement lawsuits Deckers Outdoor Corp. lodged that accused the retail giant of ripping off several UGG, Hoka and Teva boot and slipper designs, according to notices the companies filed Friday in California federal court.

UGG, Wal-Mart Ordered To File More Details On Slipper Patent
A California federal judge has ordered Deckers Outdoor Corp. and Wal-Mart Inc. to submit joint briefing on claim construction for an UGG slipper design patent that Deckers alleges the big-box retailer is infringing, saying there is insufficient information for the court to make a decision on summary judgment.

Walmart Wants To Stomp Out Ugg's Fluffy Slipper IP Suit
Walmart is looking to boot a design patent suit in California federal court that claims it is infringing a fluffy slipper by the maker of Ugg, arguing that the footwear style is far from unique and shouldn't have been patented.
