A California federal magistrate judge on Wednesday tossed two Barbizon acting and modeling schools' coverage suit against Sentinel Insurance Company Ltd. over business interruption losses at its West and East Coast locations tied to the COVID-19 pandemic and government shutdown orders.

An acting and modeling school hit Hartford Unit Sentinel Insurance Co with a suit, alleging that the carrier fraudulently marketed insurance coverage and wrongly denied its COVID-19 loss claims out of two separate policies, one with and one without a virus exclusion.
