A federal judge refused to grant a Colorado man summary judgment in his suit alleging two U.K. hackers stole about $1 million worth of bitcoin from him, ruling that there are still genuine issues of disputed fact, as the suit has gaps in its tracing analyses.

A Colorado federal judge on Monday questioned why a pair of U.K. computer whizzes accused of using "the long arm of the internet" to steal roughly $1 million worth of bitcoin from a Boulder man shouldn't be subject to the long arm of Colorado law.
